Eagles’ Jalen Reagor Ruled Out vs. with Head Injury
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jalen Reagor will not return against the Washington Football Team after suffering concussion, ending his rookie season.
Reagor was in the blue tent and went to the locker room and will not return.
It has been a disappointing rookie season for the first-round pick, ending the year with just 31 catches for 396 yards and one touchdown. He added a punt return for a touchdown in just 11 games.
The first-round pick will always be compared to fellow rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who the Eagles passed on and was taken by Minnesota one pick later. Jefferson ended the season with 1,400 receiving yards, the most all-time among rookie receivers.
Reagor missed the start of the season due to a thumb injury, there was also a shoulder injury, and now his season ends thanks to a head injury.
Sixth-round pick Quez Watkins should get more snaps with Reagor out.
