All signs point to the Philadelphia Eagles heading to New England for a joint practice with the AFC Champion Patriots this preseason, Eagles head coach said on Monday during a media availability at the annual NFL owners meetings.

The A.J. Brown Elephant in the Room

On top of getting a week of work in with one of the best teams in the AFC, Sirianni's Eagles could be facing their current wide receiver, A.J. Brown, during the practice as speculation continues to swirl about Brown's future in Philly.

Howie Roseman and Nick Sirianni Address Trade Speculation

When asked about Brown's future, both Sirianni and General Manager Howie Roseman said, “A.J. Brown is a member of the Eagles".

Brown has been connected to the Patriots, with a post-June 1st date as a potential time a move could be coming.

Joint Practices: The Sirianni Preseason Formula

During Sirianni's tenure as Eagles head coach, the team has participated in many joint practices, including with the Patriots in 2021 and in 2024. The team has also shared the practice field with the Cleveland Browns (2022, 2023, 2025), Indianapolis Colts (2023), Miami Dolphins (2022), and New York Jets (2021) under Sirianni's leadership.

Many times, these joint practices are used for the starters to get reps instead of playing in preseason games.  Sirianni's teams have played very little during the preseason, instead using joint practices to get live action.
