As the dust settles on the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl LIX victory, they can't lose focus on improving the team for the 2025 season.

One of the main ways to improve the roster is through the NFL Draft, an area the Eagles have prospered from in recent years. Jalen Carter, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Nolan Smith, and Milton Williams are some pieces the team acquired through the draft.

With four key free agents, and various other pieces set to become free agents in March, the team must look to replace some talent, starting with pick No. 32 in April's draft.

The first step for NFL Draft hopefuls is the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, where potential draft prospects showcase their skills to NFL talent evaluators, scouts, and GMs.

In his Mock Draft 1.0 in January Mel Kiper had the Eagles taking Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant. One month later, with pick No. 32, ESPN's Mel Kiper has his latest NFL Mock Draft. The Eagles are replenishing a need they may have after free agency: defensive tackle, taking Ole Miss DT Walter Nolen.

I settled on Nolen, who is the definition of disruptive and can get to the quarterback from inside. He had 6.5 sacks this past season after transferring from Texas A&M. Nolen would be a good replacement for free agent Milton Williams, joining Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis to form a solid defensive tackle group. And this would be in line with what GM Howie Roseman likes to do early in the draft, building up the trenches.

With the team potentially losing Milton Williams in free agency, this would make a lot of sense, replenishing talent along the defensive front to pair with Carter and Jordan Davis.

The junior posted 48 total tackles (25 solo) with 14.0 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, adding four QB hurries, three pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries in 2024 for the Rebels.
