Yesterday Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said that right tackle Lane Johnson was getting a second opinion on his injured ankle.

"Medically we're waiting on a second opinion, so there's some reports still coming in on Lane, so I don't have any update yet with him," Pederson stated on Monday.

Today there was an update from Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, who reports Johnson is going to try to get more rest and 'fight his was through it'.  There is no talk of surgery, or shutting him down. With that said his status for Sunday's game against Baltimore is still unknown.

Johnson missed Week 1 with the ankle injury and has missed parts of two others with the same injury. On Sunday in Pittsburgh, Johnson was carted off the field and did not return, leaving his status for Sunday in doubt.

If Johnson can't go expect rookie Jack Driscoll to take his place at right tackle.
