The Eagles unbeaten streak ended on Monday Night Football when they lost to the Washington Commanders in a game whose final score doesn't tell the full story of what happened on the field.  The loss came at a higher cost than just their first blemish on the win-loss record: Eagles star Tight End Dallas Goedert was placed on the Injured Reserve List this week after he sustained a Shoulder Injury after his face mask was yanked and he left the game in the second half.  Also, AJ Brown is Limited at Practice this week after he tweaked his ankle in Monday Night's loss.

However, the two main reasons why the Eagles lost was their inability to stop the run which resulted in an extreme time of possession difference and then those untimely turnovers just derailed multiple offensive drives.  Losing Rookie Defensive Tackle Jordan Davis to a high ankle sprain has contributed to some of the obvious defensive issues, particularly stopping the run.  To help bolster the Defensive Line, Eagles GM Howie Roseman has signed two veterans who are former Pro Bowlers to beef up the defensive line: Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph!  Let’s hope both men can help shore up the Defense with Running Backs like Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, and Saquon Barkley coming up the next few weeks.

Speaking about loss, it was revealed this week the Phillies Superstar and 2021 National League MVP Bryce Harper will undergo Elbow surgery to repair the elbow injury sustained earlier in the season.  Depending on the severity of the injury will determine how long the recovery will be. We will address it with Orthopedic Surgeon Dr, Sean McMillian on Saturday's show.

The Flyers have lost Five games in a row and their Head coach John Tortorella has had a bad couple of weeks and gotten testy with the media at recent press conferences.  Not only has his team been beaten, Tortorella was kicked in the face by one of his horses, OUCH!

The Philadelphia 76ers evened their record to 7-7 and host the Milwaukee Bucks Friday Night at the Wells Fargo Center (Hear Tom McGinnis on the call on 973 ESPN Radio!). What a difference a week makes; last week we were questioning Joel Embiid's ability to lead this team to victory then he after dropping 59 points on the Jazz, he seems to have made a statement with a powerful showing in recent games.
