After being listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, running back DeMarco Murray was listed as having not practiced Thursday because of an issue with his hamstring, suffered during Wednesday's practice.

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly confirmed Murray is dealing with a hamstring "tweak," and said Murray's ability to participate on Friday and Saturday will determine his availability.

"I think they said it's tweaked, but they will see what it is," Kelly explained.  "He's not going to go today and we'll see what he does Friday on Saturday to make a determination whether he will play or not on Sunday."

Linebacker Mychal Kendricks missed his second straight day of practice Thursday, also because of a hamstring injury. Kendrick's was severe enough to sideline him for the entire second half of the Cowboys game, but his status is still up-in-the-air for the Jets game on Sunday.

"I think he's going to do some things with [director of sports science and reconditioning] Shaun Huls today," said Kelly. "Then we'll monitor him going into tomorrow and Saturday."

Safety Chris Maragos, who has been getting time in the nickel packages, was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. Maragos's hip was identified on the injury report as the issue, but Kelly did not address it during his Thursday news conference.

LB Kiko Alonso (knee), DE Taylor Hart (shoulder) and DE Cedric Thornton (hand) all didn't practice on Thursday, Kelly pretty much ruled Alonso out for the game on Sunday.

"Kiko won't go this week, Kelly admitted. "He's not going to go today, so it doesn't look like he'll go this week and then they will just evaluate it."

With both Hart and Thornton missing practice on Thursday, the Eagles will have to make a few changes if they can't go on Sunday.

"Vinny (Curry) would just bump inside," Kelly explained.  "Obviously if both Ced and Taylor can't go, then Brandon (Bair) would be active. He was active for all 16 games for us last year so he's obviously got a wealth of experience.  We just ‑‑ he's a guy that would be active all the time for us.  It's just we can't carry that many d-linemen or we would be short at another position.  But we feel like he's a key contributor.  He's played a lot of football in the past two years here."
