The Howie Roseman and Ryan Grigson connection is alive and well.

Today the Eagles traded FB Stanley Havili to the Colts in exchange for DE Clifton Geathers.

It's no secret that Chip Kelly doesn't use a FB in his offense, he didn't use one at Oregon so Havili didn't have a place on the team any longer.

Geathers is a 6'7, 325 lb lineman and can play defensive end, or tackle in a 3-4 base defense.

It's the Eagles second trade of the off season after trading for receiver Arrelious Benn.
