Free agent Felix Jones worked out for the Eagles today per a league source.

Jones is coming off a career-low 3.6 yards per carry on his 111 carries and although he play in all 16 games last season, he battled two sore knees and a shoulder issue all season.

He wouldn't be anything more than a rotational player and a possible return man in Philly, but would add more speed and another weapon to Chip Kelly's arsenal.

The Bengals also recently gave free agent Felix Jones a tryout.

Jones, a former first round pick,  flopped again in 2012, and hasn't drawn a whiff of interest in free agency.  he was given a big chance following DeMarco Murray's Week 6 foot injury, but averaged just 3.1 yards per carry as a starter and finished 2012 with just 664 yards from scrimmage even though Murray missed six games.

However, the Eagles wouldn't need him to be a every down player, or a starter, he would just add depth and be a possible return man.
