The announcement of the Eagles' regular-season schedule is one of my favorite moments of the NFL offseason.

Here is an unofficial, strictly-for-fun, game-by-game breakdown of the Eagles' schedule.

As always, I reserve the right to alter my predictions later in the year. As of right now, I think they'll be in the hunt for the NFC East title.

Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 11 at Detroit Lions (1 p.m.) - Lions rookie edge rusher Aiden Hutchinson collects thee sacks in his debut. (LOSS).
Week 2: Monday, Sept. 19 vs. Minnesota Vikings (8:30 p.m.) - Jalen Hurts throws two TD passes to BFF and standout wide receiver A.J. Brown. (WIN)
Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 25 at Washington Commanders (1 p.m.) - Commanders have a new quarterback. Some guy named Carson Wentz. (LOSS)
Week 4: Sunday, Oct. 2 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (1 p.m.) - New Jags coach Doug Pederson surprises Eagles with Duval version of Philly Special. (WIN)
Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 9 at Arizona Cardinals (4:25 p.m.) - Cards quarterback Kyler Murray throws two TD passes to tight end Zach Ertz. (LOSS)
Week 6: Sunday, Oct. 16 vs. Dallas Cowboys (8:20 p.m.) - Cowboys are a hot mess at the moment. (WIN)

Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 30 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (1 p.m.) - Haason Reddick earns two sacks against Steelers rookie QB Kenny Pickett. (WIN)
