Flyers-Kings Preview: Hello Hollywood
The post-holiday road trip started on a good note, with the Flyers securing a 3-1 win in Anaheim on Saturday. Their next test is against one of the top teams in the league that continues to roll forward.
The Los Angeles Kings also got a win in their return to the ice on Saturday, giving them a 6-2-2 record in December.

Noah Cates remained hot coming out of the holiday break. He scored again on Saturday, giving him a five-game goal scoring streak.
Quinton Byfield was the hero for the Kings on Saturday with the overtime winner, his second goal of the game and third point. Byfield also scored against the Flyers on Dec. 19, his first of four goals in the last four games.
Aleksei Kolosov is expected to start for the Flyers. Kolosov's last start came on Dec. 19 against the Kings, allowing six goals on 26 shots in a loss. He made six saves on seven shots in relief against the Penguins on Monday.
David Rittich is expected to start for the Kings. Rittich made 18 saves on 20 shots in a loss against the Capitals in his last start on Dec. 22. Rittich has lost two straight starts. He is making only his fourth appearance in December.
