As the Eagles offseason takes shape, one name to remember that could help the team that is already here is former Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers.

Rodgers was suspended by the league for the 2023 season after violating the league’s gambling protocol and will be eligible to play during the 2024 season.

Rodgers was a key contributor to the Colts’ special teams unit, was a kick and punt returner and has made 10 starts at cornerback for Indianapolis. He had three interceptions and 10 passes defensed over three seasons for the Colts.

He was a sixth-round pick out of UMass after totaling 11 interceptions over four seasons.

With the Eagles showing some age at with their two starting corners, James Bradberry and Darius Slay, Rodgers could be a promising cornerback who can also be a factor in punt/kick returns for the team in 2024.

At 5-10 he could be a candidate to replace Bradberry on the outside, with the possibility of Bradberry either changing positions or being left off the roster if Howie Roseman can find a way to get out of his contract.
