Longtime Middle Township boys' basketball coach Tom Feraco is making his return to the Panthers sideline according to multiple reports.

The Middle Township board of education will meet tomorrow night.

Feraco, one of the most successful coaches, finished with a 719-251 record after 35 years when he stepped down in 2016.

He was replaced by Anthony Farmer, who went 33-44 in three seasons.

Under Feraco, Middle was routinely a force in the Cape-Atlantic League, winning three state titles (1993, 1994 and 2002).

Feraco stepped away from the Panthers program in early January 2014 to undergo treatment for prostate cancer, and announced to 97.3 ESPN in Feb of that year, he was cancer free.

"I feel great, there is no cancer in my system. It was really a simple procedure and its amazing how far cancer has come," Feraco told us at the Shoot Down Cancer Classic in Feb of 2014.
