In recent years, Sea Isle City has become a popular destination for former and current Philadelphia Sports Athletes along with their loyal fans.

In June of this year, former and current Eagles players were seen all over the Shore Town located off Exit 17 of the Garden State Parkway. Former Eagles Linebacker Conor Barwin hosted his Make The World Better Pickleball Tournament the weekend before Jason Kelce's annual Team 62 Fundraiser.

Now as we hit the home stretch of the busy summer season in South Jersey, more former Philadelphia Sports Athletes are coming to Sea Isle City to raise money for a worthwhile cause and you can meet them in August.

Where Can You Meet Philadelphia Sports World Champions In Sea Isle City?

The Point Sea Isle City is hosting a Meet The Athletes Fundraiser where you can hang out with former World Champions. Headlining the list of guests includes 2008 World Series MVP Cole Hamels along with Super Bowl LII Champion Brent Celek.

On Thursday, August 8th The Point will be raising money to benefit The Sea Isle City Police Officers Fund. Sea Isle City PD has a "Good Will Fund" that helps Officers and Families in need.

The SIC Police Department is involved in charity work throughout the year, so people at The Point are doing their part to help support the officers who serve and protect this Coastal Community Year-Round.

The Point Partner Pat Holloway gave the following statement to 973 ESPN South Jersey about the upcoming fundraiser:

"We are thrilled to partner with these great Philly Athletes who are donating their time for a great cause. This will be a great event as we raise money in support of the Sea Isle City Police Department Good Will Fund"

Located at the corner of 43rd Street and Pleasure Avenue, The Point is an outdoor Tiki Bar that has grown in popularity in recent years. All former Philadelphia Sports Athletes will serve as Guest Bartenders along with hanging out with patrons on site for the event.
