On Friday, the Philadelphia Eagles released their latest Injury Report ruling out five players out for Sunday Night Football and features the return of four players as Full Participants at Eagles Practice

The biggest names ruled out are on the Offensive side of the ball but are not unexpected: Miles Sanders and Alshon Jeffery have not practiced this week so many anticipated they would be unavailable for the game on Sunday Night.  On defense, the Eagles will be without two depth players in the secondary as Craig James and Cre'Von LeBlanc are guys who have played meaningful snaps this season for Philadelphia.

Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson was asked about the timetable surrounding Alshin Jeffery's calf Injury and expectations for his debut on the field this season

I believe he injured it in practice, not sure specifically what play or when it was. But listen, we've got a little time with the bye coming up and listen, I'm optimistic now moving forward especially after the bye, hopefully we get some guys back and he's one of them. - Listen before the season started, we were optimistic that he was going to play somewhere week four, week five. Listen, I would have loved to have him played against San Francisco or Pittsburgh or somebody, it just wasn't there. I'm not going to go back and say, ‘What if?’ I mean, those are all hypothetical scenarios. But we are where we are right now today with him and he's getting better and he's getting healthy and like I said, I'm optimistic. We've got this game and then we got a bye and then eight more football games. We've got a lot of guys in situations where we hope to get them back here in the second half of the season.

The return of Lane Johnson as a Full Participant at practice is big news in conjunction with Jack Driscoll being ruled out, paving the way for Lane Johnson to return as the starter at Right Tackle.  Doug Pederson was asked about their handling of Lane Johnson in his return from injuries to his ankle and knee

Just for (Lane Johnson) to get out there and just execute the game plan today. See him run around. He's been feeling good, he's had a couple good days where he's done more rehab than anything. But just being out there today and being with his teammates and executing our game plan today. On Friday, the red zone goes in today and seeing how he moves around.

Friday's Eagles Injury Report comes out an hour after the team placed two more players on Injured Reserve, that's a total of four players placed on IR in the last few days.  This raises expectations that the players who were activated to practice this week should be available this Sunday Night.  Like Dallas Goedert, Jalen Reagor has been practicing all week and spoke to the media, typically a sign that the player is healthy enough to play that week
