PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Eagles are one win away from returning to the Super Bowl after beating the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 in the snow. Saquon Barkley torched the Rams with two long touchdown runs while the Eagles defense made plays when they had to in order to preserve the victory.

Barkley had a 78-yard touchdown run with less than five minutes remaining in the game to put the Eagles ahead by 13 points. It felt like that was the dagger that would put the Rams away. However, they scored a touchdown with 2:48 left in the game and after using all three timeouts, got the ball back. Matthew Stafford drove them into the Red Zone before ultimately taking a sack by Jalen Carter on third down and throwing a fourth down pass out of bounds sealing the victory for the Eagles.

The Eagles are making their eighth NFC Championship game appearance since 2000 which is more than any other team in the conference. They will be trying to get to their second Super Bowl in the last three years and third Super Bowl in the last eight years.

This was an interesting game that produced an equally mixed report card.
