With the Sixers bringing back Ersan Ilyasova, the addition brings more scoring and shooting depth to their bench.  As a team, the 76ers are shooting 36 Percent from Three-Point range, which ranks 15th in the NBA; the addition of Ilyasova, who is shooting 35.9 Percent on Three Pointers, will help Philadelphia with their outside shooting off the bench along with his Rebounding as he is averaging 5.5 Total Rebounds Per Game.

NBCSports.com Lead NBA Writer/Managing Editor Kurt Helin joined Mike Gill on Thursday with his perspective on the 76ers addition of Ersan Ilyasova:

“(Ilyasova) can space the floor and they need that; Just adding more shooting like they did with (Marco) Belinelli gives you better options in the playoffs.  It wasn’t easy to give up (Trevor) Booker, there’s a reason that Indiana and other playoff teams where jumping at him, he’s a quality player, he played well.  But in the playoff if you got Ben Simmons who isn’t a great shooter and drives a lot and you’ve got Joel Embiid who can hit a three but really does most of his work in the post, then you got to be able to space the floor and Ilyasova is simply better at that.”
