Here Are 5 Reasons the Flyers Missed the Playoffs

PHILADELPHIA The last semblance of the Flyers’ season will come Monday afternoon.

Two days removed from their final loss of a season devoid of the playoffs, they’ll clean out their lockers, have exit interviews with coach Craig Berube and general manager Ron Hextall.

Nothing in those exit interviews should come as much of a surprise. The Flyers have known they weren’t a playoff team for a while and they knew exactly why. Here are the top five reasons the Flyers are not in the playoffs for the second time in the last three seasons.
