It seems like Holy Spirit kept showing up on the wrong side of games like this - until tonight.

Finally Holy Spirit was able to close one of these big games out, beating Camden Catholic in the final game of the 2015 Shoot Down Cancer Classic 41-37 on Sunday night.

Spartans senior Jordan Taylor led the way with 15 points and nine rebounds, picking up the slack for John Middleton how was limited to just 21 minutes due to foul trouble.  Tyler Jones added nine points and seven boards in the win for Holy Spirit which improved to 14-4 with the win.

Many publications list Camden Catholic as the No. 1 team in South Jersey, led by Courtney Cubbage who had 13 points in the game, the Irish struggled offensively hitting just 30-percent for the game from the field and were just 3-for-16 from three-point range.

With the loss, Camden Catholic dropped to 16-2 on the season.
