Hamilton Twp., NJ, Police Made 23 Arrests, Issued 120 Tickets in First Half of June

Authorities in one Atlantic County municipality were rather busy during the first half of June.

According to the Township of Hamilton Police Department, from June 1st through 15th, their officers answered 606 calls for service.

Among those calls were hundreds of property checks, 52 accidents, 21 domestic violence incidents, and 301 vehicles were stopped, with 120 tickets written.

Arrests and Charges

23 people were also arrested, including the following:

• June 1st — 18-year-old woman from Atlantic City was charged with disorderly conduct, juvenile in possession of alcoholic beverages

• June 1st — 50-year-old man from Jackson charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia

• June 1st — 57-year-old man from Irvington was arrested on active warrants

• June 2nd — 23-year-old woman from Mays Landing was charged with shoplifting

• June 2nd — 33-year-old woman from Mays Landing charged with DUI, simple assault, and criminal mischief

• June 3rd — 40-year-old man from Mays Landing charged with simple assault

• June 3rd — 50-year-old woman from Atlantic City charged with shoplifting

• June 4th — 35-year-old man from Mays Landing criminal sexual contact

• June 5th — 37-year-old man from Atlantic City charged with simple assault

• June 5th — 36-year-old man from Mays Landing was charged with simple assault

• June 7th — 41-year-old man from Egg Harbor Township arrested on active warrants

• June 7th — 33-year-old man from Mays Landing charged with contempt

• June 8th — 36-year-old woman from Levittown, PA, charged with driving under the influence

• June 8th — 22-year-old man from Mays Landing charged with simple assault, strangulation

• June 9th — 40-year-old man from Millville was arrested on active warrants

• June 9th — 19-year-old man from Atlantic City was charged with conspiracy, two counts of aggravated assault for attempting to cause serious bodily injury, two counts of aggravated assault for pointing a firearm, possession of a handgun, and unlawful possession of a handgun

• June 9th — 18-year-old man from Egg Harbor Township was charged with conspiracy, two counts of aggravated assault for attempting to cause serious bodily injury, two counts of aggravated assault for pointing a firearm, possession of a handgun, and unlawful possession of a handgun

• June 9th — 18-year-old man from Pleasantville was charged with conspiracy, two counts of aggravated assault for attempting to cause serious bodily injury, two counts of aggravated assault for pointing a firearm, possession of a handgun, and unlawful possession of a handgun

• June 9th — 16-year-old male was charged with conspiracy, two counts of aggravated assault for attempting to cause serious bodily injury, two counts of aggravated assault for pointing a firearm, possession of a handgun, and unlawful possession of a handgun

• June 9th — 18-year-old man from Pleasantville charged with possession of a handgun, unlawful possession of a firearm, child endangerment, six counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, six counts of aggravated assault for pointing a firearm, six counts of aggravated assault by discharging a firearm into a motor vehicle, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child

• June 10th — 34-year-old man from Atlantic City charged with shoplifting

• June 12th — 59-year-old woman from Brigantine was charged with shoplifting

• June 14th — 47-year-old man from Egg Harbor City was arrested on active warrants
