A man from Pleasantville potentially faces a decade in prison in connection to an armed robbery of a cell phone store last year.

On Wednesday, 44-year-old Victor Goldman pleaded guilty to a first-degree robbery charge.

During his guilty plea, Goldman admitted to robbing a Pleasantville Metro PCS store at gunpoint on December 18th, 2022.

He demanded money from the store clerk. Police later located Goldman with $940, which were the proceeds from the robbery.

Under the terms of his plea agreement, Goldman is expected to be sentenced to ten years in state prison. If he gets that term, he will need to serve 8 1/2 years before becoming eligible for parole.

Sentencing is scheduled for December 13th.
