Some good news, bad news for the Sixers for tomorrow's game against the Celtics.

First the bad news.

Joel Embiid has been ruled out for the game against the Celtics after dislocating his finger in the game against Oklahoma City on Monday night. The last game Embiid missed, against the Pacers on New Years eve, Kyle O'Quinn started in his place.

Norvel Pelle and Al Horford could also see some more minutes at the center position.

Its a big loss for the Sixers give the opponent, since the Celtics are a smaller team, and have issues with Embiid.  The big man has scored 53 points and 26 rebounds and four blocks in the two games this season against the Celtics.

Now some good news.

Rookie Matisse Thybulle was back at practice Wednesday and he's expected to return to the court for Thursday's game against the Celtics after spending nearly three weeks with a knee injury.

The rookie has been a big loss for the Sixers, both on the defensive end with his energy, he is also hitting 46 percent from 3-point range this season.
