Jordan Hicks Leaves Eagles-Redskins with Injury
Eagles middle linebacker Jordan Hicks left the Eagles Monday Night matchup against the Washington Redskins on the second play of the game with a ankle injury and will not return.
Hicks was carried off the field by two members of the Eagles training staff without putting any weight on the ankle. He was being looked over by the Eagles’ training staff on the sidelines before leaving on the back of a cart to the locker room.
He was injured on a play in which he was trying to cover Washington tight end Vernon Davis, he entered the game listed as questionable with a ankle and calf injury.
The Eagles started the night without Mychal Kendricks, so it will be Nigel Bradham, Najee Goode and Joe Walker handling the linebacker duties with Hicks out of the game.
Hicks has 28 tackles this season and has yet to record a sack through nearly six full games, he has been slowed by injuries throughout his career.
