Phillies Star Kyle Schwarber Spotted at Popular Jersey Shore Pizza Spot

The summer of Philadelphia sports stars visiting the shore continues with Kyle Schwarber making a quick stop down the shore during the All-Star Break.

Schwarber took part in the Home Run Derby on Monday night, finishing second behind Jordan Walker of the St. Louis Cardinals.  On Tuesday, he was representing the Phillies at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, hitting leadoff for the National League team.

From the Home Run Derby to Dune Drive

On Wednesday, the Phillies had a day off before they resumed the unofficial second half of the season on Thursday against the New York Mets.

With that day off, the Phillies All-Star was down in Avalon at Shorebreak Pizza Grille at 2259 Dune Drive and was nice enough to take a photo with the staff.

Shorebreak Pizza Grille has been serving locals and visitors to the shore town since 2006 with a family-friendly atmosphere, giving the people of Avalon a spot for lunch, dinner, or an easy night out after the beach.

One of their signature items is their artisan pizzas, but they have a full menu with plenty of options like cheesesteaks, sandwiches, burgers, salads, tacos, and casual coastal comfort food everyone can enjoy.

They are open every day but Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
