The national anthem performer is set for Super Bowl 50.

The NFL has told The Associated Press that famed singer, actress Lady Gaga will perform the honors to officially start Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara on Sunday.

There was a thought that famed recording artist Adele, or Taylor Swift would receive the honors, but 2016 is shaping up to be a busy year for Lady Gaga.

Her upcoming performance at Levi's Stadium will be the beginning of a busy month of February as she will also perform at the Grammy Awards and Academy Awards. Gaga will pay tribute to David Bowie during the Grammy Awards on Feb. 15. These dates come after winning a Golden Globe Award last month for her role in "American Horror Story: Hotel."

Coldplay and Beyoncé are set to perform the halftime show at Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.

I wonder what Leonardo DiCaprio thinks about Gaga singing the National Anthem on Sunday?
