A former NFL player has proclaimed his innocence regarding his involvement in the LeSean McCoy famed brawl in Philadelphia.

In a statement to TMZ, Curtis Brinkley denied any involvement by saying "I am innocent" in a brief statement sent to TMZ Sports.

Brinkley, 30, was a teammate with McCoy at University of Pittsburgh and was implicated by reports and was named a suspect by Philadelphia Police who are alleged to have participated in the brawl at Recess Lounge in Philadelphia.

There have been four suspects in total named by the Philadelphia PD in this case, McCoy being one of them.

Arrests warrants are expected to come down shortly in this case, McCoy has already retained a high profile defense attorney.
