Many residents and visitors who vacation in Margate still, to this day, talk about the fun times they have at the legendary bar, Maloney's Tavern of Margate.

Remembering Maloney’s Tavern: A Margate Institution

Maloney's, which closed for good in 2005, was located at 21 S Washington Avenue in Margate and featured two dining rooms and five bars, including an outdoor patio.  Each room on a Friday or Saturday night would be filled with people, having fun and listening to music to the wee hours of the morning.

It was a popular pick in an article we wrote about the bars you missed the most in South Jersey.

Maloney’s was torn down to make way for luxury townhouses.

The One-Night Maloney’s Reunion: Event Details

Well, for one night, Maloney's of Margate is coming back!

There will be a reunion on Saturday, August 8, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Log Cabin, 609 Jerome Avenue in Margate.

Music, Food Trucks, and Cover Charge

The reunion will feature all the good times you remember at Maloney's, like music from DJ Jordan K and DJ JJ Walsh; there will be food trucks and a $10 charge at the door for all non-members of the Log Cabin.

There was a 10-year reunion in 2015, also at the Log Cabin, which had over 400 people come out and celebrate.

Supporting the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation

A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation, which was established in 2001.

Feel free to share your favorite memories of Maloney's in the comments or on social media.
