If and when the Major League Baseball season returns, it is almost certain to have a different look.  Games could be played with in empty spring training parks -- with no fans and all players quarantined, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

The one positive for the Phillies is they would likely have the services of their lead-off man and left fielder Andrew McCutchen, who said on Thursday that he'll be "ready to go" whenever the season begins.

McCutchen told NBC Sports Philadelphia:

"Now I know, whenever the time comes and we're playing again, I'll be ready to go," he said. "I'm really gonna be itching to get out on the field and play but right now I just need to take care of business and take advantage of this time."

When the season actually begins, expect to see McCutchen, who tore his ACL back on June 3 of the 2019 season, back at the top of the Phillies line-up, a spot that he held last season.  Once he was injured and vacated the lead-off spot the Phillies lineup began to struggle.

At the time of his injury, McCutchen was leading all National League hitters in walks (43), hitting .256 with 10 home runs, 29 RBI, and 45 runs scored through 59 games this season.
