Here is a quick bio for Eagles fans of the new players who will be playing in Philadelphia in 2016:

Rodney McLeod, Safety

McLeod played his college ball at the University of Virginia where in four years he compiled 6 Interceptions, one sack, and 17 pass deflections for the Cavaliers.  He signed with the St. Louis Rams in 2012 as an undrafted Free Agent.  After spending 2012 on Special Teams he earned a spot in the Rams secondary from 2013 through 2015 in which he started 48 consecutive games where he averaged 61 tackles per season.  With the Rams he compiled 5 interceptions and 7 forced fumbles.

McLeod signed a 5 year, 35 million dollar contract with the Eagles

 

Leodis McKelvin

In college McKelvin attended Troy University where he was named All-Sun Belt Conference team as a Kick/Punt Returner his Sophmore, Junior, and Senior seasons.  As a Cornerback he compiled 123 Solo tackles and 4 Interceptions.  He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills as the 11th overall selection in the 2008 NFL Draft.  In 60 games started for the Bills McKelvin he had 13 career interceptions and averaged 32.4 tackles per season.  He also had 3 Punt Returns for Touchdowns and 1 Kickoff Return for Touchdown with the Bills.

McKelvin signed a 2 year, 6.2 million dollar deal with Eagles

 

Nigel Bradham

Bradham attended Florida State where he avergaed 47 tackles and 2.25 sacks per season for the Seminoles.  He was drafted in the 4th round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.  Bradham had his best season in 2014 under Jim Schwartz in which he compiled 66 tackles, 2.5 sacked and one interception.

Bradham signed a 2 year deal with the Eagles.

 

Ron Brooks

Brooks played his college ball at LSU where he served as Nickel and Dime Defensive Back playing along side Patrick Pederson and Tyrann Matheiu.  Despite his limited role he still accumulated 12.5 for loss, 5.5 sacks, and 3 interceptions.  In 2012 NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills drafted Brooks in the 4th round.  The hard-hitting defensive back spent four seasons in Buffalo averaging over 13 tackles per season while primary playing on Special Teams.

Brooks signed a 3 year, 5.5 million dollar deal with Eagles.

 

Chase Daniel

Chase Daniel was starting Quarterback for three seasons at University of Missouri where he amassed big numbers in a high powered offense: 12,515 passing yards, 101 passing Touchdowns, and a career 68 percent completion percentage.  In 2007 Daniel finished 4th in the Heisman Trophy voting and in 2008 was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.   From 2009 to 2012 Daniel was the New Orleans Saints backup Quarterback behind Drew Brees.  In 2013 Daniel was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs where he served as backup Quarterback to Alex Smith.

Daniel signed a 3 year, 21 million dollar contract with Eagles.

 

Brandon Brooks

Brooks played his college career at University of Miami, OH and was drafted in 3rd round of 2012 NFL Draft by Houston Texans.  The 76th overall pick Houston used to select Brooks was acquired from Philadelphia Eagles in a trade that shipped Lineback Demeco Ryans to Philly.  Brooks started 44 games over the last three seasons for Houston Texans where he primarily played at Offensive Guard but he did fill in at Tackle when needed.

Brooks signed a 5 year, 40 million dollar deal with Eagles.
