One of the big stories from LA Angels camp when Millville high grad Mike Trout showed up was his weight.  According to reports, Trout reported to Angels' camp at 240 pounds.

"People say I gained like 40 pounds, but that's a wrong answer," laughed Trout on the Sports Bash today.  "There is nothing to worry about, Im not out there crushing hamburgers."

A tweet from Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times said:  while the 21-year-old outfielder looked like an NFL running back last season, he now resembles a fullback.

Trout says he is down to 235 after he ended last season at 231, he says weight is not an issue at all, only came into camp 8 pounds heavier, 9% body fat, no worries at all.

The current American League Rookie of the Year says his goal is to help get his team to the playoffs and is looking forward to playing with Josh Hamilton in just his second big league season.
