When the best player also happens to be from our backyard, we tend to listen even more.

Millville's Mike Trout finally spoke on the Houston Astros sign-stealing scandal that has rocked the sport.

Trout, who is typically is pretty quiet, spoke up and didn't hold back.

“They cheated...I don’t agree with the punishment...I lost respect for some of those guys.” “Going up to the plate knowing what’s coming...that would be a lot of fun.”

“It’s sad for baseball. It’s tough. They cheated. I don’t agree with the punishments.”
