Millville high alum Mike Trout hit leadoff for the American League All-Stars on Tuesday night in Cincinnati - he started the game with a solo home run, helping him earn his second straight All-Star game MVP award.

Trout won the award by smacking a solo homer off Zack Greinke over the right-field wall, drew a walk and scored two runs in the American League's 6-3 victory over the National League.

At 23-years old, Trout became the first player in major league baseball history to win back-to-back All-Star Game MVP awards.
