In the 2025 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected multiple players with ties to New Jersey, making dreams come true for young men who grew up as Eagles fans.
At the 31st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Linebacker Jihaad Campbell. Before playing his college ball at the University of Alabama, Campbell played three of his four years of High School Football at Timber Creek Regional in Erial, New Jersey, before transferring to IMG Academy for his Senior Year.
On Day Three of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Eagles selected Quarterback Kyle McCord in the 6th Round. Before leading the nation in Passing Yards at Syracuse last season, McCord attended Saint Joseph's Prep in Philadelphia, and he grew up in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
The irony is that last season, the Eagles' Backup Quarterback was Kenny Pickett, a graduate of Ocean Township High School. For the second straight year, the Eagles will have a local guy in Training Camp.
