The deal the Phillies signed with relief pitcher Archie Brady became official today, and he didn't take long to become a fan favorite.

At 10:01 am the Phillies sent out their official press release announcing the deal.

By 11:40 am Brandley was on twitter lobbying for the team to sign free-agent catcher J.T Realmuto.

Bradley spent last season with both the Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds. He went 2-0 with six saves and a 2.95 ERA while holding opposing hitters to a .246 batting average. Bradley had 18 strikeouts against only three walks over 18.1 innings.

Since converting to a relief pitcher in 2017, he has posted a 2.82 ERA in 220 relief appearances and averaged 9.9 strikeouts/9.0 innings pitched (257 SO, 233.1 IP).
