ON DEMAND: Breaking Down the Eagles Loss to San Fran Yesterday
Eagles Lose to 49ers
Mike Gill and Matt Segal break down an Eagles loss yesterday that makes this team now 3-1. It was a winnable game even with the Eagles only getting over the 50-yard line just twice and the offense not scoring any points. The running game was not there yesterday and Nick Foles continued to struggle in some instances. Foles has not shown Gill any progression from last season and continues to compare him to Chad Henne. Segal is not writing him off, yet.
With Barrett's Breakdown every Monday on Sportsbash after every Eagles game. Brooks pointed out the offensive line as the biggest problem and that unit not allowing McCoy and Foles to excel. However, Brooks compared Foles to a former Eagles QB in Ty Detmer. The decision making is there, but the physical tools are not there for Foles when he needs to make a play. Follow Brooks on Twitter.
Our Eagles insider Scott Grayson goes over his grades from Eagles/49ers.
CSN Philly Eagles reporter Geoff Mosher on here to give us his recap of Eagles vs. 49ers. Mosher said that the offensive line was getting beaten yesterday up and down the field. He also said that the game was very winnable and they left a lot of plays out on the field. Mosher really laid the blame on Riley Cooper with plays that were "left on the field." He's not making the plays that a player with his salary needs to make. Follow Mosher on Twitter.
