Dick Jerardi

Talked with longtime Philadelphia Daily News horse racing expert Dick Jerardi about the Triple Crown attempt over the weekend. California Chrome owner Steve Coburn was very bitter after his horse lost the Belmont and had some choice words after the race. Jerardi came on and talked with Mike and Todd about the state of horse racing and what can be done in the future. Does Coburn have a point? He did apologize for his rant this morning.

Murph

Phillies field reporter Gregg Murphy called in to talk about his part in an event taking place this summer, as well as the state of the Phillies. They currently have the worst record and the NL and the second worst record in all of MLB. Murphy says that the team shows its frustration, but in the grand scheme of things they are only 7 games out of first place. The National League East is one of the worst in baseball. Murph still remains hopeful in this team.
