Philadelphia Phillies manager Rob Thomson is shaking up the lineup again for their elimination game on Wednesday for Game 4 of the NLDS against the New York Mets

Among the moves is Weston Wilson sliding into the outfield, replacing Austin Hays, who was acquired at the trade deadline from Baltimore. Hays missed time at the end of the regular season, and Thomson hinted at this move on Tuesday when he admitted: "Hays looked rusty."

Hays is 1-1  and Wilson is 0-6 with two strikeouts lifetime against Mets starter José Quintana.

With Wilson taking on defensive duties in left, Brandon Marsh will assume the center fielder role with Johan Rojas heading to the bench. Alec Bohm remains at third base and in the No. 5 spot in the order.

Rojas is 5-for-9 lifetime against Quintana, but will not start today.

Phillies Game 4 NLDS lineup vs. Mets

  1. Kyle Schwarber, DH
  2. Trea Turner, 2B
  3. Bryce Harper, 1B

The Phillies are throwing their splits out the window in this game, with Stott and Marsh getting the call against the lefty Quintana. Both Stott (.223) and Marsh (.192) have struggled against left-handed pitching this season, but with the season on the line, they are both in the lineup.

"We need offense," Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters before Game 4.. "I felt like this was the best way to get it."

They are a combined 0-for-5 with two strikeouts against Quintana.

The Phillies will turn to Ranger Suárez, who has been excellent in the postseason during his tenure with the Phillies with a 1.62 postseason ERA in 33.1 innings pitched in seven career starts.
