The NBA Postseason is finally here, and the Philadelphia 76ers are ready to go to battle. It's been a few weeks now since the Sixers officially clinched their playoff berth. And for the last week or so, they've known that they will be the third seed. Finally, on Wednesday night as the season finale for most teams took place, the Sixers found out their opponent. This weekend, the Sixers will take on the sixth-seeded Brooklyn Nets.

No matter who the Sixers ended up playing, they knew that they were getting what will be viewed as 'lesser' competition thanks to the perks of being in the third seed. However, the Brooklyn Nets will not be taken lightly. As both teams have met for a total of four times this year, they split two games apiece. Two wins, and two losses. Just because Brooklyn is the new kids on the block in comparison to the Sixers, Philly knows first-hand that the young playoff teams can shockingly advance themselves if the other team isn't prepared.

Both teams will get a two-day rest period before the postseason officially begins. Then, on Saturday, the Brooklyn Nets will come to the Wells Fargo Center to take on the 76ers for Game 1 of the first round. The game will take place on Saturday, April 13th, at 2:30 PM EST. And will be broadcasted on ESPN. The series is scheduled as follows...

Game 1: April 13th @ Philadelphia, 2:30 PM

Game 2: April 15th @ Philadelphia, 8:00 PM
