Philadelphia Eagles Prepare For Giants’ Pass Rush Without Tackle Jordan Mailata
The Philadelphia Eagles will likely be without left tackle Jordan Mailata for "a couple of weeks" due to a hamstring injury sustained in the Eagles' Week 6 win over the Cleveland Browns according to head coach Nick Sirianni.
Mailata had to leave the game early, exiting on a cart and was replaced by veteran Fred Johnson, which has fans concerned about the impact on the team’s performance moving forward.

Sirianni was asked on Monday if moving right guard Mehki Becton out to that tackle spot is a long-term situation rather than using Johnson in that role.
"Everything is on the table," Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said on Monday. We've got some good ability to do different things because of the roster that Howie and his staff have built and the flexibility that Coach Stoutland coaches the guys up with to be able to be multiple at different positions."
If Becton moves out to left tackle, second-year guard Tyler Steen would likely move into the right guard position.
Either way facing a New York Giants defense that has a very good pass rush without Mailata is not ideal. The Giants added former Carolina Panthers edge rusher Brian Burns in the offseason, adding him to a defense that already features Dexter Lawrence on the interior.
The Eagles (3-2) will head to MetLife Stadium to face the Giants (2-4) in an NFC East clash this Sunday at 1 p.m.
