Philadelphia Flyers vs. Pittsburgh Penguins – Game 4: How to Watch, Lineups, Keys to the Game
If Game 3 was a raucous atmosphere, Game 4 has the potential to top it, with the promise for more potential home games to come. Get a win, and the Philadelphia Flyers will advance to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Pittsburgh Penguins will try to prevent that from happening one game at a time. The first one they need on the comeback trail would force the series back to Pittsburgh.
Game 4 is set to begin at 8 PM.

Keys to the Game
- Keep the Pressure On: When they've been at their best, the Flyers have come in waves with pressure. They'll need to continue that to take away any opportunity of the Penguins finding a way to get back into the series.
- Command 5-on-5 Play: It's been the Flyers most dominant aspect of the game, controlling 5-on-5 play. Doing that again will likely take care of the series.
- Finish the Job: The fourth win is the hardest to get, but the Flyers have an opportunity to advance to the second round in front of their fans. The motivation should be there to simply finish the job and get some much-needed recovery time to prepare for what's ahead.
By the Numbers
- The Penguins have the only first-period goal in the series, coming in Game 3. The Flyers have outscored the Penguins, 6-1, in the second period and 5-2 in the third period.
- Cam York, Matvei Michkov, and Tyson Foerster are the only three Flyers to appear in all three games in the series and not record a point.
- The last time the Flyers swept a playoff series was in the 1995 conference semi-finals, defeating the New York Rangers.
Quotable
- "For me, I've lived it, I've seen it. For me, it's to see the young guys and Coots, TK, seeing that crowd. It's been a while. So I'm really happy for those guys. We've got a long way to go. The hardest one is to win the next one. I don't want to get too nostalgic with the crowd. The crowd was great, don't get me wrong, but I'm happy for the guys. But like I said, back to business tomorrow. That's the way we have to act." - Rick Tocchet following the Game 3 win.
X-Factors
- Trevor Zegras: Zegras got the party going with the game-tying goal on Wednesday and added an assist. He's tied for the team lead with three points in the series.
- Evgeni Malkin: Malkin has been the one player consistently contributing on offense. He has two goals and an assist in the series, factoring into three of the four Pittsburgh goals. As one of the veterans, he'll be leaned on to try to get a win to prolong the series.
