The Phillies have recalled infielder Freddy Galvis, right-handers Tyler Cloyd and Luis Garcia, and left-handers Mauricio Robles and Joe Savery from triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Additionally, catcher Cameron Rupp had his contract selected from Lehigh Valley.

Senior Vice President and General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr. made the announcements.

Galvis, 23, hit .245 with three home runs and 25 RBI in 62 games for Lehigh Valley this season. In 112 career games with the Phillies Galvis has a .218 average with seven home runs and 38 RBI.

Cloyd went 5-9 with a 4.71 ERA in 112.1 innings for Lehigh Valley this season. Over his last eight starts, Cloyd is 4-1 with a 1.36 ERA in 53.0 innings for the IronPigs. The 26-year-old returns to Philadelphia for his fourth stint this season where he is 2-3 with a 3.57 ERA in eight games.

Garcia has retired all 12 batters he has faced at Lehigh Valley since being sent down on August 25. The 26-year-old has a 5.59 ERA in 19.1 innings for the Phillies this year.

Robles had an active 19.0-inning scoreless streak for Lehigh Valley at the time of his promotion. The 24-year-old went 5-3 with a 1.97 ERA in 64.0 innings between Reading and Lehigh Valley this season.

Savery went 3-1 with a 3.85 ERA in 20 games for Lehigh Valley this year. He has a 1.38 ERA in 13.0 innings for the Phillies this season and has held opponents to a .154 average over his last six Major League appearances.

Rupp, 24, hit .260 with 14 home runs and 45 RBI in 93 games between double-A Reading and Lehigh Valley this year.

Lehigh Valley Manager Dave Brundage will also be in uniform for the Phillies. Brundage guided the IronPigs to a 72-72 record in his first year as manager with the club.
