Enter Don Mattingly: A Veteran Presence

Phillies President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski announced the changes, naming Don Mattingly as the Phillies interim manager.

Mattingly, the 2020 National League Manager of the Year with the Miami Marlins, managed the Los Angeles Dodgers for five seasons (2011-15) and the Marlins for seven seasons (2016-22).
