The Philadelphia Phillies’ first Grapefruit League home batting order has a few regulars who will get a couple of at-bats today against the Baltimore Orioles.

Designated Hitter Kyle Schwarber will lead off at BayCare Ballpark today, while Nick Castellanos will follow him in the No. 2 spot in the order. Brandon Marsh will bat third with Edmundo Sosa hitting in the clean-up spot in the order.

The outfield will consist of (left to right) Cal Stevenson, Marsh, and Castellanos. 2017 Millville high slum Buddy Kennedy is in the lineup for the second day in a row, playing second base after starting at first base on Saturday.

Around the infield the team will go with Christian Arroyo at third, Sosa at short, Kennedy at second, and Kody Clemens will be at first.  Garrett Stubbs is behind the plate today.

The Phillies will send Bishop Eustace righty Tyler Phillips to the mound.  he went 4-1 with a 6.87 ERA in eight games, making seven starts for the Phillies in 2024. he is considered a longshot to make the team in 2025 but should stick around as organizational depth.

They will face Baltimore right-hander Cade Povich, who went 3-9 with a 5.90 ERA in 16 games last year for the Orioles in 2024.

The first pitch is set in Clearwater for 1:05 p.m.
