The Philadelphia Phillies make their 2025 home debut on Monday, facing the Colorado Rockies and Citizens Bank Park.

They will face Colorado right-hander Germán Márquez, which means Kyle Schwarber is hitting in the leadoff spot today.  Trea Turner is still out of the lineup with back spasms and is expected to be out of the lineup until at least Wednesday.

In his place, Edmundo Sosa has four hits in eight at-bats in the two games he has filled in at shortstop.

With Turner out, Alec Bohm has moved from his regular No. 4 spot to the No.2 spot in the order, followed by Bryce Harper and the return of J.T. Realmuto, who left Saturday’s game with a left foot contusion and missed Sunday’s game as a precautionary measure.

Max Kepler hits fifth, with Nick Castellanos, Bryson Stott, Brandon Marsh, and Sosa rounding out the lineup.

The Phillies will send lefty Cristopher Sánchez to the bump today, making his 2025 season debut, after a Grapefruit League season where he dazzled with a 1.62 ERA and a 0.840 WHIP; he had 19 strikeouts in 16.2 innings in five spring games.

He could have a big season debut facing a young Rockies team that has struck out 31 times through in their first three games, dropping 2-of-3 against the Tampa Bay Rays.

First pitch is set for 3:05 at Citizens Bank Park.
