Phillies Hitters vs. Cal Quantrill: By the Numbers

His career numbers against Phillies hitters don’t paint a promising picture, either.

Turner, Schwarber, Bohm, Kepler, and Realmuto in the top five spots, with Otto Kemp, Stott, Brandon Marsh, and Johan Rojas rounding out the order.
With Castellanos not in the lineup, his streak of 236 games started is over. According to reports, Castellanos is not playing because of an “inappropriate comment” he made after being removed from last night’s game, Rob Thomson said.

According to Phillies beat reporter Lochlahn March from the Philadelphia Inquirer, Castellanos said: “I wasn't happy about it, spoke my mind. He said that I crossed a line. So my punishment is I'm not playing.”

With Luzardo on the mound and the Phillies’ bats heating up, Philadelphia will look to stay hot at home and take game two of this four-game set at Citizens Bank Park before the Mets come to town this weekend.

The Phillies trail the Mets by two games in the N.L. East and are the top team in the Wild Card race.

First pitch tonight is set for 6:10 p.m. at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
