The Phillies and Astros are all tied up at 1-1 in the World Series with the series shifting back to Philadelphia and will turn to Noah Syndergaard to start the game with Ranger Suárez getting the ball in Game 4.

Suárez  of course pitched out of the bullpen in Game 1 and also closed out the Phillies Game 5 clincher against the Padres, so he will be pushed back to Game 4. Overall, he has a 1.86 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 9/ strikouts in 9 2/3 innings in four appearances (two starts) this postseason.

Syndergaard is set to take the mound for Philadelphia against Houston starter Lance McCullers Jr. for Game 3 of the World Series on Monday night in what will be the first playoff game at Citizens ballpark since 2009.

Syndergaard, a 30-year old veteran, is set for his second start of the postseason. He started Game 4 in the Division series against the Atlanta Braves, pitching just three innings and has logged 5 1/3 innings in three playoff appearances.

He'll be opposed by McCullers, 29, had a no-decision against the Yankees in Game 4 of the ALCS in his last start, giving up four runs (three earned) on eight hits over his five frames.

Coverage of the game is being carried on 97.3 ESPN and the free mobile app. First pitch is set for 8:03 p.m., with the pregame show starting at 7 p.m.
