"We'll probably activate him after the game tomorrow," Thomson said, stressing probably.

The big lefty has struggled as of late, including a night where he walked four in 2/3-innings pitched in Atlanta

Overall in 56 games this season, he has a 4.30 ERA with a 1.32 WHIP, notching 13 saves in 52.1 innings pitched.

Bryce Harper banged up

According to Todd Zolecki from Phillies.com, Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper has been dealing with a sore wrist and elbow.

Harper tells Zolecki that he is hopeful that he's healthy and good to go by October.

With the postseason a little more than a month away, he said he is hopeful it will not be an issue in October.

Harper has had a tough second half of the season, slashing .278/.369/.520 with 26 home runs and 76 RBI after hitting .301 with 21 homers and 61 RBI before the break.

For the Phillies to make another deep playoff run and win the World Series, they are going to need a healthy Harper.
