Former Giants and current Texas Rangers pitcher Tim Lincecum was once known for having the best hair in baseball.  Lincecum has gotten a haircut, so who holds that honor now?  The longest hair in professional baseball probably belongs to Zac Curtis.  Now, he is in the Phillies bullpen.

The Phillies announced on Monday that they had recalled Curtis, who will serve as a second left-handed pitcher in the bullpen.  The Phillies have had only Adam Morgan from the left side since the Phillies sent Hoby Milner to Triple-A Lehigh Valley to make way for Tommy Hunter, returning from the disabled list.  Curtis replaces Jake Thompson, who was optioned to Lehigh Valley after putting in an extended appearance on Sunday afternoon.

Curtis was 0-1 with a 2.61 earned run average in nine games for the IronPigs. In 10 1/3 innings, Curtis walked five and allowed seven hits.  He struck out 12.
