Phillies Replacing Popular Dollar Dog Night with New Hot Dog Promotion
Phillies Dollar Dog Nights have existed for 27 years, in 2024 there will be no more Dollar Dog nights anymore at Citizens Bank Park.
In a press release on Thursday, the team announced they will be replacing the very popular Dollar Dog Night with the new Hatfield Phillies Franks BOGO Nights on April 2 and April 16, where fans can buy one hot dog at regular price and get the second hot dog for free at concession stands throughout the ballpark.
Per the release: This modification to the previous Hatfield Phillies Franks Dollar Dog Nights is based on the organization’s ongoing commitment to provide a positive experience for all fans in attendance.
All fans at Citizens Bank Park will be able to buy two hot dogs for the price of one hot dog ($5) at concession stands throughout the ballpark.
If you do the math it appears Dollar Dog Night has become $2.50 dog night.
Fans threw the cheaply priced hot dogs on to the playing field and lines made it different to navigate the concourse at Citizens Bank Park last season, which may have been part of the reason the promotion has come to an end.
