The heat is officially on all four Philadelphia sports teams this summer!  The Flyers, who are coming off a dreadful season last year, the organization claimed this offseason would be an "aggressive retool" but they didn't do what it takes to get South Jersey native and star free agent Forward Johnny Gaudreau.  Now the pressure for the Flyers to play well enough to make the playoffs falls on their new head coach John Tortorella. Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher told the media this week it would have been difficult to completely change the roster around to be able to sign the 100-point scorer Gaudreau. The clock is ticking for Fletcher to win or the organization will need to find another man to lead the Front Office.

The Phillies have lost four games in a row after they had won seven of their previous nine games.  In Miami this weekend, the Phillies have a three-game series against the Marlins, their final games to play before the MLB All-Star Break.  With key injuries to their pitching staff and a starting lineup without 2021 National League MVP Bryce Harper, the Phillies chances of keeping pace in the race for a wildcard playoff berth is looking bleak.  The pressure is now on for the Phillies Front Office and the President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski to make this team better before the August 2nd Trade Deadline.

The Sixers are in a similar state of pressure on President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey, who acquired De’Anthony Melton on NBA Draft Night, signed veteran Forward PJ Tucker in Free Agency, and according to reports has convinced James Harden to resign with the Sixers for 15 million less than he could have received.  But is there more for the Sixers to do ahead of next season or is the current state of the roster enough to reach the organization's first NBA Finals in over 20 years? The pressure is on!!

The Eagles and their General manager Howie Roseman had a great off-season with free agent signings and a highly praised NFL Draft class.  Now the Birds have to perform on the field and get back to the playoffs!  The Eagles open camp on July 26th and the heat is on second-year Head Coach Nick Sirianni for another successful season.
