While it seems the Phillies are interested and appear willing to bring back catcher J.T Realmuto, they might have some new competition.

According to Fansided’s MLB insider Robert Murray, the Braves are 'circling' on Realmuto, along with some teams out west.

Phillies fans felt the possibility of bringing back Realmuto was better after Toronto inked outfielder George Springer sign a six-year, $150 million on Tuesday. The Blue Jays were one of the teams that were stated to have interest in the free-agent catcher.

It was reported on Wednesday by Jon Heyman of the MLB Network that the Phillies are "believed" to have an offer on the table worth around $110 million.

The 29-year-old catcher hit .266 with 11 home runs, 32 RBI, four stolen bases, and 33 runs scored in 47 games during the 2020 season.
